Jim Shelley & Book Of Kills

Pixies & Citibank? Kinda Gross?

Okay. If Citibank (or just about any other major corporation in the universe) called me up tomorrow and asked if they could use a Book of Kills song on one of their upcoming commercials, I'd need about three seconds to say 'yes'. Still, there are few bands in the history of rock and roll that I adored more than the Pixies. Hearing "Here Comes Your Man" on a Citibank commercial is...kinda gross. I just hope Kim Deal, Joey Santiago, and David Lovering are sharing the wealth. If not, the song's use on a Citibank commercial is even grosser.

ABBEY ROAD hit number one on the U.S. album charts on this day in 1969 as well it should have.

"With your feet in the air, and your head on the ground, try this trick, and spin it. Your head will collapse, and there's nothing in it, and you'll ask yourself, 'Where is my mind?'" -- Black Francis
