You Can Be Billy Joel...
There has been a little bit of confusion concerning Singles Club subscriptions. Go to the Store ("Subscribe Today") link below to get more information.
It took a good deal of time, but I finished the fourth single and mailed them out today. When I listened to the songs, I realized that I needed to do a bit of re-recording and remixing and that took several hours. I finished the re-recording part late this afternoon and I was even happier with the "new" results than I was yesterday. Then, after a lot of mixing, remixing and more remixing, I finally got three songs I really like. I printed the labels and CDs yesterday so it was just a matter of wrapping and addressing.
Now it's on to single #5. This time of year is usually quite busy so I'm thinking I'll only have time to put together a couple songs.
Subscribe Today to the Book of Kills Compact Disc Singles Club!
You can subscribe in two different ways: (1) A 6 month/$25 subscription (6 compact disc singles) or (2) A 12 month/$48 subscription (12 compact disc singles). You'll receive as your first single the eleven track E.P., HUMAN AGAIN! After that, you'll receive a compact disc each month of your subscription containing 2 or 3 (maybe even more?) never before released BOK recordings. These might be new originals or previously unreleased outtakes, live performances, alternate performances, demos, or some combination of the five.
The majority of the singles will feature new material. Tracks might feature a full arrangement or be a solo acoustic number. Each compact disc will feature a newly designed two or four panel insert. Singles will usually be mailed during the third week of the month.
All songs released through the Book of Kills Singles Club will be exclusively limited to the Singles Club series. They will never be released in any other form! That includes HUMAN AGAIN.
"You can be Billy Joel and stop making records, but if you have that drive and passion, you're going to do it whether it sells or not. It's there inside of you and if you don't get it out, you're going to explode." -- Bernie Taupin
