The Coming E.P. Release

I almost finished another song in the short amount of time I had to work on it. Although I am not saying the two are similar, I have to say that this little E.P. I'm working on (or at least this projected E.P.) is going to be a fun listen much along the lines of 1998's IF I SHOULD FALL. Most the songs are quite short, but I've more often than not included one or two sub-two minute tracks on many of my records. As I've gotten older, I've found I have less patience with constructing (or listening to) longer pieces and to be honest, they increasingly seem to bore me. If you can't get in and out in 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, say everything you need to say and play everything you need to play, I'm thinking you might just be wanking. Live...well, that's a different story, I guess. But if I can sit down and listen to a whole album in about thirty minutes (RAMONES, MEET THE BEATLES, A HARD DAYS NIGHT, PINK MOON, COME ON PILGRIM, GREEN RIVER, NASHVILLE SKYLINE, IT'S A SHAME ABOUT RAY, SIGNALS, CALLS, AND MARCHES, WATERY DOMESTIC, WHAT MAKES A MAN START FIRES?, THE KINKS GREATEST HITS, and SORRY, MA, FORGOT TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH are just a few of my favorite all-time albums, let alone ones that come in at about 30 minutes or less) that's pretty freaking cool.

Anyhow...yeah, I'm still trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with the subscription thing and no, I haven't mailed out the CD versions of BIG BUSINESS MONKEY, VOLUME 5.
