The Beginning of the End

I had a few hours today with nothing (blessedly) else to do other than actually devote some time to working on music. I returned to a very early outtake from the singles series sessions from, I think, October 2015 and did a bit of lyric re-writing and re-recording. I'm leaning ever so slightly now to creating a compilation with two-three unreleased tracks on it. I don't know if I'll ever complete the medley I've mentioned here on and off. I could, however, see part of it showing up on the compilation. You know, writing and recording new songs isn't easy but I always feel so at peace when I'm doing it, regardless of whether the song is a wild rocker or a shy and retiring ballad.

On this day in 1969, The Beatles met at John's Tittenhurst Park estate in England for their last-ever photo session. Two of the photos served as the front and back cover of the U.S. only compilation album HEY JUDE.
