No practice this weekend?

I can't practice this Saturday, and neither can Casey, so I doubt there'll be a practice this weekend for BOK #1. It is getting to be rather frustrating trying to put something together, but I like playing with those guys so much that I can't give up on the idea of making it work.

For BOK #2, Brian Temples texted me last night and asked if we could do "Fat Woman Lying In The Road" for Bugg70 and I wholeheartedly agreed. It was one of 9-10 songs I considered for that particular band. We'll be doing between 5-7 songs, all of them classic BOK things. Should be pretty freaking raucous! It's always great (if a bit daunting) to jam with Brian and Dusty because they're the definition of consummate professionals, so I'm looking forward to making music with them for the first time in almost a decade.

You probably won't be interested in this, but a couple BOK fans might be. I'm selling on Ebay a RODE NTA-1 microphone that has mysteriously ceased working. It's the mike that I used to record vocals for BOK's I CAN'T GIVE YOU ANYTHING BUT LOVE and THE KARL ROVE'S demo sessions in Schuyler, Virginia at Tom Peloso's (of Hackensaw Boys and Modest Mouse fame) house. Not sure how to give you an address to the auction, but just search Ebay for Rode NTA-1 and you'll probably find it if you're curious. Bid it up! It goes on sale late tonight.
