I Leave Her There Till She Rings 3 Times

Check out the AUDIO page if you haven't lately. I uploaded a live version of the rather obscure BOK song "I Leave Her There Till She Rings 3 Times" that I think hardcore BOK fans will find interesting.

We'll be practicing tonight (Thursday) evening for the first time in three weeks. Looking forward to it. I'm still not sure that we've totally gotten a handle yet on who or what we are as a band, but we're getting there. It's not as though this is anything more than a fun bit of a hobby, eh?

On this day in 1965, The Beatles released their single "Ticket to Ride"/"Yes It Is". I walked from my house three miles into downtown Harrisonburg to the department store Grants (which had the best selection of pop records in the area at the time) and bought a copy, probably for 77 cents. It was one of the first records I ever bought. George Harrison's guitar work on that song (based, I suspect, on his the style of one of his early influences, Bill Justis) was massively influential on my own playing.
