Jim Shelley & Book Of Kills

Home Again, Home Again

Home again. Did you miss me? Didn't even know I was gone, did you?

Went on vacation with my family. Beautiful, busy days. Beautiful, restful nights. Perfect weather. Kind of a bummer to be back so soon.

IF I SHOULD FALL is now being uploaded to the usual online stores. It should already be on iTunes, Amazon, and a few other places. It'll be available pretty much everywhere before too long, I suppose.

It'd be pretty swell if you went to your favorite online music store and streamed some BOK or downloaded a song or two by same. Just sayin'. It's up to you, of course.

Jane Firkin (used to be an integral part of Book Of Kills from 2000-2003 and teeny parts of 2014) got hitched this past weekend. I was sorry I couldn't attend the festivities, but I was still out of town.

I have four completed new songs sitting on the very computer upon which I am currently typing this blog. I'd kinda like to get ten or fifteen more done and then think a bit on what I was gonna do about them.

I made a very rudimentary video (just lyrics) for "Jesus Was An Alien" (from 1993) not too long ago and uploaded it to YouTube. However, when I do a search for it, it doesn't come up. I know I uploaded it. Maybe it's so insignificant in the grand scheme of things that it simply cannot be found on the internet...as though it exists only in my little temporary chunk of the universe and no one else's.
