Dulcimers and Stuff
My wife and I went to a moving sale this morning (it was only advertised in a few small signs stuck here and there on the side of some roads around Bridgewater, the little town in which we live) and I think we got there before anyone else. I immediately set eyes on a handmade mountain dulcimer with a handmade cloth backpack for it and a '70s era instruction book. Cost: $10! Right beside it was a cheap-ass faux Stratocaster by Spectrum, which I think is the brand sold at Target. It's incredibly light. Took it home and plugged it in and it works like a champ! Hell, I'm for sure going to use it on the next BOK Single of the Month CD! Cost: $1! I also snagged an Atari video game system with ten games for $1 and a classic Sega Genesis system with 50 games for $5! Awesome morning.
Speaking of the Single of the Month, I hope I'll be able to get a good start on it early next week. December will be, as I've said previously, a very busy month so I'm thinking I need to devote whatever free time I can find early on in putting the songs together. If you're a subscriber, you know that you've already received twenty-three previously unreleased tracks in just four months! And there are eight more months to go! If you haven't subscribed, do it today and get a new single very month!
