Can't Stand It Anymore

Fourteen years ago, BOK (at the time, Casey and Jane Firkin, Lisa Van Fossen, and me) played a pretty hot little show at The Little Grill in Harrisonburg, Virginia. It was truly a unique gig. We opened the night with Casey, Jane and I playing one song each acoustically. I don't recall what Casey or Jane played, but I did "I Wish I Was You". I remember being extremely nervous and telling the audience that was "...the last fucking time I'll ever play solo." For the electric segment, Gary Bugg joined in on banjo for "So Wicked" and Eric Kimsey lent his electronic sound effects to "Stanley the Steamer". I had forgotten how open to experimentation that group was. What a shame it only lasted for three performances!

Yes, the Blue Nile performances have been deleted. If you don't already know, the venue has a very good chance of re-opening under new management some time in the near future.
