Jim Shelley & Book Of Kills

Big Number TEN

BLOOM OR DIE?, the first Book of Kills album from 1989, has been uploaded for approval by iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, and all the other swell online music stores. I'll let you know when it's available. It generally takes companies three or four days to okay everything. In the meantime, there's plenty of BOK music to listen to already, so get hoppin'!

Pete Townshend was born on this day in 1945. Joey Ramone was born on this day in 1952. Pete, of course, is still with us. Joey not so much.

"I have terrible hearing problems. I unwittingly helped to invent and refine a type of music that makes its principal proponents deaf." -- Pete Townshend
"We decided to start our own group because we were bored with everything we heard. Everything was tenth generation Led Zeppelin. Over-produced or just junk. We missed music the way it used to be." -- Joey Ramone
