And In Fact REVOLVER Does Turn FIFTY Today!

As I already noted in a previous post, The Beatles's first lysergic masterpiece, REVOLVER ("...an album so far ahead of its time, the world is still catching up with it 50 years later..."), was released in England on this day in 1966

I still don't know what I'm going to do for the final single in the Single of the Month series. Again, I've tossed around the idea of creating a compilation album of the best of the twelve releases but I couldn't divide up the first single, HUMAN AGAIN, nor the fifth one, I ROAM THE WORLD BETWEEN & THREE OTHERS, both of which rank up there as (what I consider) my best work. Both differ from all the others in that they're inhabited by real human emotion and a laser focused intent. So, I suppose I could compile the best of the other nine discs and maybe add a couple new songs, do the collage thing for the insert and make that the final single? Probably...

I still want to create at least one more really great record.
